“Fire Bucket” Juried Into Capitol Hill Arts Workshop Exhibition

7.jpg

Entrenched in a battle against natural forces, “Fire Bucket” exemplifies beauty in the aged and decayed. Not only is history evident in the peeling paint, split wood, and rusting metal, but art in the surface textures and subsequent shadows that enhance form. It also illuminates how far we’ve come, and what we take for granted, most crucial of which is time.

The piece will be on display in the Vessels Show at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop from Saturday, February 4 until Tuesday, February 28. All works are for sale, and entry is free.
